West Main St Owego, NY Bill Chandler 607-222-6357 Send Email Hotels Weather Map/Direction | Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway Of Valor Tribute Ride (# 13755)17-Jul-2010 (Saturday)The 2nd Annual Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor Tribute Ride will form up at Marvin Park on Main St. in Owego,NY at 8am. Ride will depart at 10am for the 98 mile ride on NY Route 38, now designated as Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway of Valor. There will be a stop in Groton,NY for food, gas, and to honor Medal of Honor recipient USMC 2nd Lt. Terrance Graves. The ride will depart promptly at 1pm preceding north once again to the next stop in Montezuma,NY where we will pause to stretch our legs and to honor Medal of Honor recipient US Army SP-4 Robert Stryker. Then we will precede north on Route 38 where the ride will end in the village of Fair Haven,NY, where there will be food. The ride is free, but you will have to buy your own food. The ride is open to the public; bikes, cars, trucks, military vehicles and helicopters welcome. This will be a police escorted ride.
