The Georgetown Police Department will be holding the 1st annual RIDE TO BENEFIT MADD DELAWARE police escorted motorcycle ride on August 23rd,2009 at the Harley-Davidson in Seaford, DE. Georgetown PD is proud to be a strong supporter of MADD and their mission to eliminate the crime of drunk driving. We hope that you feel the same as we do and ask for your support in helping the Delaware Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The donations raised from this Bike Ride will go to MADD Delaware so that they can continue to provide victim support and services, community education, legislative support and outreach programs throughout our great State of Delaware. The ride will start in Seaford, DE and we will ride across the county then up to Wawa in Milford, DE. (Coupons will be passed out to all registered motorcycle riders and passengers for free RITA'S water ice in Milford and Auntie Anne's is supposed to pass out free pretzels as well until they are all gone) We will then ride back across the county towards Harrington and then back down to Seaford where there will be food and drinks. THE FIRST 50 REGISTERED WILL RECEIVE A FREE T-SHIRT.
