Sponsor: Multi Community Diversified Services of McPherson Time: Registration begins at 8:30 Starting Location: Block 32, 128 S. Christian, Ave. Moundridge Ending Location: MCDS building, 2107 Industrial Drive, McPherson The route: Begins in Moundridge and tours through Galva, Lindsborg, Marquette and back to McPherson Cost: $20 for a rider includes t-shirt, poker hand and door-prize entry. $30 for rider and passenger includes two shirts, hands and entries Why?: MCDS provides training and support services to people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities. Funds raised through this event will help support those programs and help fund other special events for those who receive services. Other information: This is the first MCDS Ride for Independence and is part of celebration of our 35th Anniversary of providing services to people with disabilities. The event will include vendors, prizes, music, food and other special events. Breakfast is available at Block 32 beginning at 8:30 at an additional cost. The day will conclude with a drawing for a 2009 soft-tail chopper from McNeese Customs in Emporia, Kansas.
