Jaffrey, NH Cheryl Simmons 603-491-7461 Send Email Hotels Weather Map/Direction | Jaffrey Chamber Of Commerce Poker Run (# 9909)12-Jul-2009 (Sunday)Join us for our second annual poker run starting in Jaffrey New Hampshire, home of Mt. Monadnock. The run will take you through 15 towns and 2 counties of Southern New Hampshire. Registration will take place from 9:00 am to10:30am at the Monadnock Plaza, Peterborough Street, directly across the street from McDonalds. The $20.00 per rider and $15.00 per passenger fee will include prizes for best and worst hands, entertainment and a barbecue to finish your day. Portions of the proceeds will benefit the Marty Taylor Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is available to Conant High School graduates who wish to further their education in the technical or vocational field. The scholarship was started in 2006 after Marty Taylor, a native of Jaffrey, was struck and tragically killed by a motorist while riding.
